ISTIA Cloud: you pay per event, based on what you need. Answer a few questions in our wizard and you see right away what it costs for your organisation and event. Leave your details and we can offer you a good setup.

Where does the name Istia come from?

The initiators of Istia share one great passion: the world of surfing and sailing. It is therefore no coincidence that our name comes from the Greek ιστία (istía): the sails of a ship. A sail catches the wind and converts it into targeted movement. That's exactly what Istia does: we capture the complexity of your organization and turn it into a streamlined, dynamic flow. This is how you really get your event moving.

What events is Istia for?

Istia was created at demanding sporting events, where registrations, heats, crew, sponsors and live results all have to be right at the same time. What holds up there works almost anywhere: from sailing competitions and running events to trade shows, and even weddings. A competition is not necessary: you can also manage registrations, tickets, exhibitors or guests, crew, check-in and messages on large screens. You only turn on the competition modules when you use them.

Is Istia only for sports events?

No, you can use Istia perfectly without the scoring part, you can still manage registrations, crew planning and messages, media or sponsor logos on the big screens.

Can I use only the modules I need, per event?

Yes. You start with Istia Core and switch on only the modules you use per event. Need more next year? Just add a module.

How does pricing work?

A setup fee per event plus a price per registrant. Extra modules and rented infrastructure are billed separately. No surprises.

Can participants register and pay online?

Yes. Participants sign up in advance on your own event site and pay online via Mollie; on site you handle payments via SumUp.

Is Istia multilingual?

Yes. The management environment is multilingual: Dutch, English, German, French, Spanish and Italian. All entities (e.g. enrollment groups and class formats) can also be entered in any other language to make international events feel at home.

Does Istia also provide the event website?

Istia can deliver the public event website that grows with you every year — one site for all editions, with registration, results and photos built in. The Real Trip is a showcase, in a later stage we will be able to offer this to other organizers as well.

Is Istia available only online, or is there additional support?

By arrangement, we can assist you during the event with seasoned, cool-headed on-site event support.
